Precision matters. That’s why every Aira Technician is trained in-house at our Aira Academy.
Even the best heat pump won’t perform if it’s not installed right. So we don’t leave it to chance. At the Aira Academy, our technicians master every detail of installation and maintenance through hands-on, expert-led training.
Think of it like a Formula One team. Engineers shaving milliseconds off lap times. Pit crews changing tyres in seconds. Everyone focused on one thing: optimal performance.

What expert installation looks like. Step by step.
Step 1: Prepare the home
We start by laying down protective sheeting throughout your home, keeping things clean and showing your space the respect it deserves.
Step 2: Install your system
We usually start with the outdoor unit, then move inside to fit the piping, radiators (if needed), and the rest of your system.
Step 3: Remove & recycle your old boiler
When the indoor units are ready to install, this is when we remove your old gas boiler, which we’ll recycle for you, of course.
Step 4: Testing, balancing & commissioning
Before anything powers on, we test it. Thoroughly. We check all the electrics, make sure heat’s distributed evenly across every room, and use our bespoke installer app to test and commission your system.
Step 5: Handover
Once your system’s up and running, we don’t just pack up and vanish. We’ll walk you through everything, including how to use your heat pump, set your preferences, and get the most from your new way of heating.
Step 6: Clean up
We tidy up as we go, but we always do a final once-over at the end to make sure your home is left just as we found it. Neat, tidy, and ready to enjoy cleaner, more affordable heating.

We’ll assesses your home energy needs, spotting inefficiencies and improvements, before providing a price-locked quote for your clean energy-tech. All for free.
Design and installation within 30 days
We’ll conduct a technical survey and aim to design and install your bespoke system within 30 days of an approved quote.
Removal and recycling of old boiler
Once your heat pump is installed, we’ll remove and recycle your old boiler, make sure your heating and hot water are working perfectly and show you how everything works.
